GAUNT LONDON" on the reverse, measuring 37. 5 mm (w) x 39. 5 mm (h), both lugs intact, light contact, exhibiting scattered greening on the obverse, better than very fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Ottawa, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 86, July 1, 1915. The Battalion sailed with a strength of 37 officers and 1,038 other ranks for Bermuda on August 8, 1915 as a Protective Garrison.
