Vintage Black Velvet Clown Painting vintage blue collar This Ajusco task lamp isc. 1950s Acrylic painting on a black velvet canvas depicting "tramp" or "hobo" character clown, one of the three traditional types that exist in the circus clown sub genre, and one of the most recognizable clowns period.. This piece is one of a number of black velvet clown paintings that seemed to be produced in the 1950s and 1960s for unknown reasons.
