Each edge of the top hexagon has a slight beveled edge, leading to the center frame in white jasper and black onyx. The center stone featured on the lid is a piece of Nature's Paintbrush, a dendritic dolomite from China. It shows a tan background with black dendrites lined in golden brown. The lid lifts fully away and is
