Germany, Kriegsmarine. A High Seas Fleet Badge, Wartime-Compatible Example, by Rudolf Souval Province of China along with the maker’s stylized(Flottenkriegsabzeichen). Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a frontal depiction of a battleship cutting through waves, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Rudolf Souval, Vienna, measuring 43. 56 mm (w) x 57.
