Today, the most monumental of these, the Gier aqueduct, still impresses visitors with the structures that mark its 86 km route. Philippe Schuller, a photographer sensitive to the traces of the past, has spent extensive time exploring these remains. Throughout the seasons, the lighting and atmospheres he creates reflect the diversity of feelings inspired by these ruins in their
