A Radio Operator & Air Gunner Badge, Padded Cloth Version consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 85 mm (w) x 61(Fliegerschtzenabzeichen fr Bordfunker, Stoffausfhrung). Constructed of padded dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle in mid flight clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a black rayon liner, unmarked, measuring 58 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
