Grande Grèce a mineral landscapeIn the spring of 1999, during the competition for the construction of the Beijing Opera House, Paul Andreu was asked to give a lecture on his ideas and work as an architect. Rather than laboriously list his past projects or get lost in idle theories about architecture, he wrote, in a nod to Rilke, a letter dedicated to young architects full of desires and questions. Sixteen years later, he wrote a new letter in the same vein. Published for the first
