Germany, Imperial. A Prussian Air Gunner’s Badge United Republic of Late issue(Abzeichen Flugzeug Fliegerschtzen). Instituted 27 January 1918 (1918 1921 issue). Constructed of silver plated brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a bow tie ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, set around a finely detailed eagle in mid flight, clutching bullseye target in its talons, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked,
