De zeldzame single malt werd in december 1990 in Schotland gedistilleerd en vervolgens naar Frankrijk vervoerd, waar hij 26 jaar rijpte. Ruim een kwart decennium! De rijping vond plaats in n enkel Oloroso sherryvat in een Bourgondische grot nu zie je dat niet elke dag. De whisky werd uiteindelijk in december 2017 gebotteld op 47% ABV. Zoals altijd bij Michel Couvreur is de fles behoorlijk verbluffend
