1901 Print Chateau Mansion Marquis de Mores North Dakota Little Missouri EM2 BZ1 Boyle on the east sideThis is an original 1901 halftone print of the Chateau de Mores in Medora, North Dakota. The historic home was built by its owner, French aristocrat and entrepreneur Marquis de Mores in 1883, and was meant to serve family and friends as a hunting lodge and summer home. The historic home was named after Mores' wife, Medora. Today, the mansion has been turned into a public museum and operates under the direction of the State Historical Society of North
