Instituted in 1841. Multi piece construction, in silver gilt with white and blue enamels, coppered background around the saint's head where the blue enamels once resided on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 56. 2 mm (w) x 58. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, the left point of the arm at 6 o'clock bent back slightly from contact thereby causing chipping and crazing in the white enamels on both
