The judges loved the simplicity of ingredients and described Black Doris plums in pinot noir syrup as having a lovely story of terroir. The Black Doris plums are carefully grown by Mike at Moorpark & Mulberry Orchard in Cromwell. These black beauties are then hand preserved by Gus in a Pinot Noir syrup, using wine from Penkridge Farm Wines Central
