Kirkwall Ba' Drop Earrings in Dark Tan Enamel SageCode-9W-DR212 hand-enamelled in our Orkney workshopThese sterling silver drop earrings feature a 9mm diameter ball design, based on the leather, cork filled Kirkwall Ba'. Each Ba' design is hand enamelled in Dark Tan enamel. The earrings including silver hook have an overall drop of approximately 28mm. As a child, Sheila was always fascinated to make the special family trip to Kirkwall to watch the Ba, the unique street ball game played in Orkney on Christmas and New Years Day since at least 1850.
