Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised topographical map of Spain, overlaid by a Flak 88 with its barrel raised, topped by a first pattern droptail style Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika and a banner bearing an engraved inscription of LEGION CONDOR, situated above a plaque bearing an engraved inscription of IM KAMPF GEGEN DEN BOLSCHEWISMUS SPANIEN, 1936 1939 (IN THE FIGHT
