Germany, Der Stahlhelm. A 1931 Commemorative Service Badge, by Der Stahlhof Republic of 90 mm x 44(Der Stahlhelm Diensteintrittsabzeichen 1931). Instituted 13 November 1933 by Franz Seldte. (1933 1939 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled medallion, overlaid by a raised Stahlhelm insignia, situated above a silvered date of 1931 topped by oak leaves, the reverse with a crimped hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from a circular plate, bearing a hand
