The 'Renaissance' cuve refers to fruit for this wine, which is taken from Domaine Clape's newer plantings. All whole cluster and fermented in open air cement before the 22 months in foudre. Classic big dark fruit, anise, blackberry jam and chocolate tart. Enjoy it with beef bacon, marinated with miso teriyaki, and served with steamed broccoli and fresh white rice.
