The jacket is a wool blend with the blueish gray colouring of the RAF and is adorned with the black and Wedgwood blue rank insignia of Air Vice Marshal on the cuffs. The front has five pockets, one on each breast which have decorative straps giving them a pleated look plus small brass RAF buttons, maker marked "GAUNT LONDON" on their reverses, each pocket having a
