Boîte à peignes en faïence, vers 1900 Décor à l'immortel de Saxe Ravissant petit objet destiné àBeautiful Maastricht earthenware comb box, decorated with floral (bindweed decoration) and geometric patterns in creamy white and blue. The handle is Japanese inspired. The object must date from the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century. On the back is a stamp Maestricht ceramic company surrounding a lion. "The entrepreneurs Winand Nicolaas Clermont and Charles Chainaye founded a pottery in the Wijck district of Maastricht in 1851.
