The April Showers cowl is worked flat and on the bias, starting with a few cast on stitches. It is shaped into a triangle with increases along the edge of the knit. When the triangle is large enough to make a cowl, the opposite tips of the triangle are brought together and closed with a slight overlap, then secured with little seams. This cowl is knitted in two colours in stripes to accentuate the garter
