Stein 'Blauschiefer' Riesling Trocken Mosel, 2024 crown Bottled at 62100% Riesling, from 60 year old, ungrafted vines from Ulli Stein's prime vineyard holdings in the village of Sankt Aldegund. The vines are grown on steep slopes of blue slate (Blauschiefer). The wine resembles these soils in flavor, with razor sharp, flinty acidity and is totally dry. Pair with honey glazed, grilled pork chops or fresh apples and gorgonzola, topped with a dusting of honey, or served alongside your favorite jam and crackers.
