Japan, Imperial. An Order of the Sacred Treasure, V Class in Case Newly Listed maker emboss stamped "RudInstituted January 4, 1888 by Emperor Meiji. Constructed of silver and silver gilt with white and blue enamels, along with sixteen red glass cabochons, suspended by a paulownia flower connected to a correct period original ribbon, reverse plain with two rivets and kanji in the center, marked 14 on the reverse of the suspension, measuring 43. 9 mm (w) x 47. 7 mm (h inclusive of paulownia suspension), in extremely fine condition.
