An MG 08 desk ornament, consisting of a scale replica of the primary heavy machine gun utilized by German forces during the First World War (with additional limited pre war and post war service), executed in olive drab painted bronze, featuring swivel action within the carriage, affixed to a marbled pedestal which retains a paper liner on the base to mitigate surface scratching, unmarked, measuring 7 cm (w)
