Late Victorian Demantoid Garnet Frog Charm gypsy rings Birmingham 1863DATE: Victorian, c. 1890 Demantoid garnets have a colour unlike any other gem it couldn't be any more perfect to bring life to this weird mid Victorian frog. Dating from the late 19th century circa 1890 it's crafted in 15 karat gold with long, pointy fingers and toes, and googly diamond set eyes. Converted from a pin.
