The figurine is certainly hollow lead. The figurine completes the fabulous diorama Le Jardin d'acclimation created by CBG Mignot around the year 1905. The figurine is in good condition. There are some minor chips to the painting of the elephant, see photos. There is a lack of paint on the base revealing rust oxidation. The porter chair is made of aluminum and it has
