1881 Steel Engraving JC Buttre Art Hannah Van Buren Portrait First Lady LWH1 XMA7 moisturizer"Mrs. Martin Van Buren" This is an original 1881 black and white steel engraving by John Chester Buttre (1821 1893) that portrays Hannah Hoes Van Buren (1783 1819), the wife of Martin Van Buren (1782 1862), the eighth President of the United States of America. Hannah died of tuberculosis before her husband Martin became President. He never remarried however, and was one of the few Presidents to be unmarried while in office. CONDITION This 132+ year
