Pair Antique 18thC Italian Majolica Pottery Portrait Vases Apothecary Jars 1700 Redo The base of taped formA good pair of antique early 18th century Italian majolica portrait apothecary Jars, Venice, circa 1700. The jars of baluster form with a cobalt blue glaze, hand painted with foliate and flowers, the rim and foot having yellow glaze. Each jar is hand painted with an 18th century portrait of a male figure, each on a yellow ground, both jars with twin handles. Both jars with the pottery maker's mark to the base, condition of both jars is very good, no
