Other dates noted are "Feb. 3. 1870" which happens to be the date the 15th Amendment was ratified giving African American men the right to vote, and "Apr. 8. 1870" which was the day the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1870, also known as the Enforcement Act, was enacted by Congress.
